Welcome to my little afternoon saviour. These are really just a fancy version of a yoghurt but really do seem to keep you full and fuelled. I get terribly sluggish some afternoons if I’ve been rushing around and have been trying lately not to just grab for easy bakery options. I know blended fruit can be a bit controversial in the sugar department, but you can make this how you want and add more fruit, more veg etc. Play around and make it your way because it’s such an easy ‘pimped up yoghurt’ for the afternoon.
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of porridge oats
2 tablespoons of thick greek yoghurt
a teaspoon of peanut butter
a drizzle of honey
some frozen fruit for garnish and extra chill bite if you fancy it
Method
In a food processor or Nutri bullet, blend the banana and the yoghurt. This may take a few goes as the banana can be quite hard to blitz
